In 2001, Scott Pettis, Jason Klamm and Chad Newman got together in Chicago, Illinois and improvised a fake talk show – The Dickie Allenstar Show. Four of the resultant tracks were eventually released on an album entitled “Do You Enjoy Chicken At Mealtime?” and now that podcasts exist there’s finally a place where this almost makes sense. Enjoy episode 1, where Scott’s Dickie interviews Jason’s Richie Delwasp as Chad’s Gerry produces. Coming soon, the episodes that followed and a bonus song.
Hi! We just reached 500 podcast episodes (this being 501), as produced by me, Jason Klamm – including Comedy on Vinyl, Dan and Jay’s Comedy Hour and Dispatches from Fort Awesome. I’m very proud of this, so I grabbed my buddy Alex Salem at the last minute to help me celebrate. It was up to him to determine the format, or lack thereof, so we had a grand time just talking.
This month, Matt Saxe and Jason Klamm bring back the Vice-Precedence podcast talking about two VPs with narrow misses to the Presidency, and who also made brief appearances in Ken Burns’ “The Roosevelts.”
